The Century Ensemble Brass shell is a custom-designed user interface that offers virtually every opportunity for self-expression. It’s simple. Everything is on one page. Inside the case you’ll find the secret of the Century Ensemble Brass: an exquisite collection of luxurious virtual instruments specifically designed for high-end emotional realism. Century Brass Sessions lasted two years, with carefully selected players from all over Europe, over 700 hours of sessions, mulligans and even further mulligans.
Century Orchestral Brass was created using several new recording and sampling techniques. All legatos are not only multi-layered in dynamics, but also provide completely smooth transitions, even when performing polyphonic legato. We also recorded many different short notes, much more than the typical staccato and marcato. We recorded unique, fanfare-oriented short notes with more punch and tension, as well as more traditional articulations of varying lengths. There are more arcs than you could ever imagine, and of course, all arcs are now dynamically layered and recorded at different lengths, providing true polyphonic legato.
Century Orchestral Brass is not a sample library for us. This is a truly emotional and realistic collection, featuring an ever-evolving brass instrument with incredibly deep sampling. It can be anything you want. The most delicate skin you’ve ever touched, or the threatening end of the world. It may be subtle, it may be Forte, but it will always be lyrical.
REAL POLYPHONIC LEGATO. SEAMLESS EXPRESSION
Century Brass 2.0 raises the bar for professional legato sampling with the world’s first true polyphonic legato. Polyphonic legato allows you to play as many notes as you want and run all legato intervals. Legatos also allows you to seamlessly switch between speakers. The sound is truly authentic, dynamic and lyrical.

Century Brass 2.0 includes two new mic mixes that place each instrument in traditional orchestra seats. Mix A is a great stage mix and Mix B is an epic orchestral mix. We also give you full control over creating your own stereo and 5.1 mixes using the original trio of microphones (Close, Decca and Wide).

– Century Brass 2.0 now includes two specially created “on-site” mixes that place the instruments in a traditional orchestral position. We expect that the majority of our users will be eager to use these new mixes for most purposes. Mix a is a focused balance, while mix b is wider and more atmospheric. Using different mixing options on different instruments can help improve the separation of your sound, which is a great way to bring certain instruments to the forefront of your productions.
– We have also optimized the entire library to provide more advanced features and superior performance on a variety of workstations. The entire Century horn collection now includes our latest chaos effects, allowing you to customize your signal path and post-processing with over 140 impulse responses, stereo delays, EQ and more.
– This latest update also includes individually accessible articulations, as well as several advanced options such as our “poly-time” articulations. they allow you to play arcs at speeds that match your composition, as well as smoothly produce those articulations in a legato style.
